Como llegar: Una carretera accidentada desvía hace la Cordillera Negra 8 km. al sur de Huaraz por la carretera principal (después del Puente Pariac) y asciende sinuosamente a la Laguna Wilcacocha (una hora desde Huaraz). Es un lugar popular con visitantes, debido a sus panoramas amplias de la Cordillera Blanca.

How to get there: A rough road forks west from the highway 8 km. south of Huaraz (south of the Pariac Bridge) and winds up to Laguna Wilcacocha high in the Cordillera Blanca. About an 80-minute drive from Huaraz. This is a popular spot with panoramic views of the entire west side of the Cordillera Blanca.
