Donde fue tomada: Desde la carretera a la mina Antamina al este de San Marcos y Chavín en el Callejón de Conchucos.

Where is was taken: From the road to the Antamina mine east of San Marcos and Chavín in the Callejón de Conchucos.

Como llegar: Se llega a Chavín de Huántar y San Marcos en el Callejón de Conchucos (vertiente oriental de la Cordillera) a través de la carretera asfaltada (via el túnel Cahuish) desde Catac (35 km. al sur de Huaraz). Desde San Marcos, o Huaripampa un poco más al norte) una carretera muy accidentada asciende hace el este, en camino al gran mina Antamina. Desde el Km. 15 hay muchos puntos panorámicos, pero el mejor es por el cerro pequeño en el Km. 17, al lado de un desvio de 100 meteros. Hay servicio de colectivos y buses a Chavín y San Marcos desde Huaraz, pero no hay transporte pública por la carretera desde San Marcos hace Antamina.

How to get there: San Marcos and Chavín de Huántar are reached via a well-maintained paved highway over and through (via the Cahuish tunnel) ´the Cordillera Blanca to the east side of the range. A rough road climbs east from just north of San Marcos, passing through Huaripampa before climbing high. There are many viewpoints, but the best one may be at the turnout at Km. 17. There is both bus and car service from Huaraz, but no public transportation from San Marcos toward Antamina.
