Where it was taken: Above the village of Copa Grande, east of Marcará, near the Copacabana Lodge.

Como llegar: Desde Marcará (27 km. al norte de Huaraz), una carretera sin asfaltar asciende hacia el este al pueblito de Copa Grande. (Sigue los letreros para llegar al Hostal Copacabana.) Una subida de unos 500 metros llega a este punto panorámico. Sin embargo hay vistas similares al Huascarán por gran parte del Callejón de Huaylas, incluyendo desde Huaraz mismo.

How to get there: From Marcará (27 km. north of Huaraz), an unpaved road winds up to the east to the village of Copa Grande. A three-minute drive up the hill to the west leads to this viewpoint. However there are similar views of Huascarán up and down the Callejón de Huaylas, including from the city of Huaraz itself.
